On translating Russian ecological literature in China

Abstract

Based on a bibliographic review and specific examples, the article examines the process of translation of Russian ecological literature in China, summarizes the characteristic features of translation practice at different stages of its development, and analyzes the significance of translation activities for the intercultural dissemination of Russian ecological literature and the exchange of ideas on this topic in the historical and social context.
